Open House: Come explore High Point Elementary prior to the first day of school! Families are invited to meet our dedicated teachers, tour classrooms, and learn more about our engaging curriculum and supportive programs at Open House. This is also the time to create a school lunch account, set-up transportation with bus route information or a carpool number, and purchase spirit wear.
Boohoo/Yahoo Breakfast
Boohoo/Yahoo Breakfast: Whether you’re crying sad tears or happy tears, celebrate your student’s first day at High Point at this casual drop-in breakfast. This event is hosted by engaged parents who have been where you are today and are happy to assuage any first day of school anxieties or answer any lingering questions for our new parents to High Point. Pre-K, Kinder, and other new parents to High Point invited.
Back to School Picnic
Back to School Picnic: Celebrate the start of a new school year with food, fun, and friends at High Point’s Back to School Picnic. Bring a blanket, your favorite snacks, and enjoy games, music, and community spirit. Small concessions also available. It's a great way for students, families, and staff to reconnect and kick off the year together!
General PTO Meeting
General PTO Meeting: All are invited to our General PTO Meeting — a great opportunity to stay informed and get involved in our school community. We'll discuss upcoming events, school initiatives, and ways you can help make a difference. Whether you're a longtime volunteer or new to the school, your voice and engagement matter!
Stock the Lounge
Stock the Teacher’s Lounge: Show your appreciation for our amazing teachers by helping keep their lounge stocked with snacks, drinks, and supplies. Your contribution can make a big difference in brightening their day! Sign up to donate and help create a warm, welcoming, and well-caffeinated space for our hardworking staff! Stock the Teacher’s Lounge is hosted twice a year—September and January—with sign-up links posted during those times.
Curriculum Night
Curriculum Night: We’re excited to invite you to HPES’s Curriculum night - a special evening where families can learn more about what their children will be experiencing and exploring this school year. You'll have the opportunity to visit with your child's teacher, gain insight into classroom routines, academic expectations, and key learning goals. This is a great chance to strengthen the home-school connection and ask any questions you may have. We look forward to partnering with you to support your child’s success!

For parents considering our school for the first time or just wanting to get to know us better before enrolling, we welcome you to come sip coffee, mingle with current parents, and discover what makes our school such a special place for students.

Fall Festival
Sunday, October 5
Fall Festival: Celebrate the season with exciting games, delicious treats, pumpkin decorating, and carnival rides at High Point’s Annual Fall Festival. There will be something for everyone, from crafts and face painting to a teacher dunk tank and prizes. Open to everyone in our community - bring the whole family and enjoy a day of autumn fun, all while supporting our school community.
